St Georgij Monastery is part of the Sts Kirl & Metodij Macedonian Orthodox Church. It's located at 185 Center Grove Rd in Randolph, NJ.
Throughout the year the Monastery is hosting religious holidays accompanied by picnics and other events. The Monastery is the first and oldest Macedonian Orthodox Monastery in North America, and has officially started serving the community on Sep 16, 1984.
The Monastery grounds of 7.5 acres was bought and donated by Mr. Georgi Tanov in 1978 under the presidency of Mr. Pande Dimitrovski. The building of the Monastery started right after foundation consecration in September 1978 by His Eminence Metropolitan Kiril, with assistance of Parish Priest Father Krste Poposki. Building of the Monastery finished in 1984, and was consecrated in the same year on September 16th by His Eminence Metropolitan Kiril, with assistance of Parish Priest Father Krste Poposki and other Dioceses Clergy.
