Sts. Kiril & Metodij Church – Standing Together in Faith and Support

On March 16, 2025, a devastating tragedy struck the town of Kocani, Macedonia, leaving families shattered and a community in mourning. A horrific fire broke out in the early morning hours, around 2:30am local time, spreading quickly through the Pulse Club in Kocani, Macedonia.  Over 1,500 people, majority between the ages of 16 and 24, were there in attendance for the DNK concert.

Macedonia may be a small country, but our hearts and our spirit are immeasurable. We are more than just a nation—we are a family. When one of us is in pain, we all feel it. In times of tragedy, we do what we have always done: come together, stand strong, and support one another.

Your Donation Can Make a Difference

All proceeds from this fundraiser will go directly to the families affected by this tragedy. 100% of donations will go to the victims in Kocani—our church will not keep a single cent.

A Community United in Compassion

Our Macedonian identity is built on faith, resilience, and unity. Whether we are in our homeland or part of the diaspora, we share an unbreakable bond. Now, more than ever, we must come together to lift up those who are suffering. This is what it means to be Macedonian—to stand as one, to care for our people, and to never turn away in times of need.

Every donation, no matter the amount, is a testament to our strength and our love for one another. Together, we can help rebuild lives and bring hope to those who need it most.

**************

Property Upgrade

New School, Banquet Hall & Summer Kitchen

One of the largest upgrades to our property in Cedar Grove is underway. Our team and volunteers from our community are working on plan, permits and design for a multi-purpose building. This page will be updated with more information and renderings of the new building as we progress through the projct. Please get involved, we need all the help we can get. There's going to be a need for many trades to get involved, if you can help with the project in anyway, please reach out to our team.

The new building will offer a functional outdoor kitchen space. The kitchen will serve as the new home for our Sunday breakfast (donated by members throught the year) on warmer weather Sundays and would like to host outdoors and enjoy the beautiful grounds of our church. As our community has inquired, the new building will also provide a multipurpose banquet hall that offers our church members a smaller event space for parties such as name days, birthdays, graduations, showers, and many other private events. The Macedonian language and Bible schools is envisioned as a convertable space for the school but also private parties.

We have also envisioned this space being one to unite our retired community and give them a safe space to gather. Our Church is one that has shown growth, inclusion, and popularity with the various events that we have hosted throughout the years.

Our team is currently in the process of finalizing the plans for submission of permits. Our main goal is to build this amazing project debt free. We are looking to our devoted parishioners and community to come together and help us reach this goal by donations. With your help and donation, we will also engrave your family name/business name on our pavers leading up to this beautiful new building. With the year end, please remember as always, all donations are tax deductible.
